The AGM will be held at the Marriott Hotel (Swindon) and is open to IAC members and partners, and includes the possibility to visit the REME Museum at ( ex RAF) Lyneham .  After the record attendance at the 2025 AGM we have been working hard to make the 2026 AGM as memorable, and start the new years activities with a great social occasion.

Friday 6 March

1300 The Auster Club have organised their own tour of the  Wroughton Science Museum  and it is limited to 15 people .  Tickets are £25.  The Tour is now fully booked.

Note: Due to conditions in the historic aircraft hangar, it is deemed unsafe and is unfortunately not part of the tour. 

1800 - Meet in reception of hotel at 1800 to walk to a local pub The Royal Oak (13 minutes walk from the hotel).  The restaurant has been reserved and meal orders booked.

Saturday 7 March- Visit REME museum .

1200- Meet for a buffet lunch in the meeting room,  followed by a guest speaker (1) Julian Gee talking about Spitfires (90th Anniversary).  After the talk you can continue looking around the museum. You will be charged on entry £6 plus £15 for lunch.

Meet at 1830 for 1900- Dinner on Saturday evening at the Marriott (Bratton Room ground floor by reception ) - Mike Laundy after dinner speaker (2)

There is a choice of 3-Course for £38, or 2-Course for £34 and these can be booked via an email link that will be sent to you from the hotel when you reserve (or if you have reserved already within the coming weeks).  The menu is basically as follows,

Starters - Toasted Goat Cheese or Shaved Chicken Salad or Tomato and Basil Soup

Main Course- Supreme Chicken or Mushroom, Artichoke &Sage Risotto or Filet of Sea Bass

Dessert -Sticky Toffee Pudding or Chocolate Tart or Lemon Brulee Tart

The cut-off date for choosing your menu was 20th February.

Sunday 8 March

0900-Meet in the Chairhill Room (Marriott Hotel Swindon) to start the AGM at 0930 .  Jacek Mainka WW2 with be our 3rd guest speaker talking about Polish Austers and other war planes.
